PRX Reverse Peel is a 3-phase anti-pigment treatment designed to treat hyperpigmentation and melasma. The unique formula of the peel makes it stand out from other existing peels with its qualities of treating melasma in a gradual, effective, and safe way. Melasma is a skin condition appearing as dark pigment spots and is caused by e.g., Sun exposure, genetics, hormones, pregnancy, and blue light. PRX Reverse Peel is a three-phase treatment solution working to even the skin tone and removing hyperpigmentation.
1st phase starts the oxidation of melanin with hydrogen peroxide and continues with kojic acid. Both ingredients enter the deeper layers of the dermis due to the presence of TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) and Hydrogen Peroxide modulates the inflammatory process at low concentration.
2nd Phase is a peel with a high concentration of Lactic acid and Phytic acid with iron-chelating action. Lactic acid reaches the basal and secretes the pigment from inside out without damaging the surface layers.
3rd Phase is a Hydroxy acid peeling that contains Glycolic acid, Almond acid, Salicylic acid which gently exfoliates the outer layers of the skin.
